Just a quick update on what is going on so far....my husband is at the bank at this moment talking to them to see what we can do and to see what we can do about possibly help with getting a payment to the mortgage company, and seeing what they can do. Since I am at work right now, not too much I can do at this time, but hoping I will have a little time off and on today to get those complaints taken care and sent out. Didn't sleep again last night and even today my hands are shaking. Hubby did check with Salvation Army this morning, and they cannot help us for 2 reason, one, according to them, we make too much money (going off of gross of course, not what we take home), and 2 ~ the most they usually can do is $200 to $300 because of the number of people that need help. That was the response I got this morning. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Another update ~ paperwork for PDLs in, told us to watch account to see if they try again and any more comes out and then bank will have us fill out another form and they will work on getting money back for us to help bring our account to current.

Hubby in loan dept now and they are trying to see what they can do to help us at least get the payment that was returned taken care of.

Have last letter to PDL Co, Whistler Holding, ready to go to the post office and am sending it priority/registered mail.

Will keep everyone informed as I go....now back to work.

Sorry to hear about the SA. Another idea I had is to maybe call the County housing dept to see if they have a list of places in your area that will help. Worth a shot.

Another update....things taken care of at the bank as far as the PDLs go. They are flagging our account and told us to make sure we watch the account and it turns out they ar very familiar with Route66!

As far as assitance with the mortgage payment, they could not help us right now, due to account and right now our credit.

Husband did talk to the mortgage company and they are going to send us some paperwork to fill out to see if we qualify for maybe reduction in payments or something like that, but also told him that if we could get a payment with his next 2 paydays we would be ok, but problem is we have utilities, car payment, insurance and we have to get some groceries and such, so....not sure if we can swing all of that within his next 2 paydays. He did not realize what all I go through dealing with people. He never does it and it has always been me and he never wants to know anything because it "upsets him and stesses him out". He told me he was sorry for putting everything off on me and will start helping a little more on these things, which helps me a bit emotionally. I don't feel like all the weight is on my shoulders and I have some help sharing the load.

I know it is a long hard road ahead of us, but with the support and encouragement I have been receiving on this board is going to help me through it.

I am so very glad I stumbled onto this site (and did by accident). It has been a lot of help and I have been passing information onto others about what I have read and this site, so I hope they will come here and see that they also are not along.

Thanks everyone!!!

Thanks Texas! Your post brought a smile to my face! I am looking forward to not having these things hanging over my head and to be able to put my family back together again and not be as stressed out and be able to meet my bills without robbing Peter to pay Paul and worry about things bouncing!!!

Oh, I did get my last letter out to Whistler Holding, sent it priority mail with return receipt requested, so that way I know I have proof that it was received! Working on my complaints to the AG, in between work and such, and then I guess it will be a waiting game. To date, the ones I emailed, I have not gotten a response on. Not sure how long it will take before I hear anything. For a couple of them, MagnumZ LLC, Whistler Holding and one other, I did request a refund of fees due to over payment. The first 2 should be over $1000 each. Hope I get it because it would be a tremendous help!

OK, had to share this before I left work for the day....we got an email from Whistler Holding (The Loan Shop). It was one of their "extension" forms they want us to sign and send back to them where they want us to sign this form as to what we want them to do! First form that we have received: See below of what I got!

Just thought I would let you all know that I have emailed Dateline NBC with a story suggestion of payday loan companies and how they take advatage of people and how they are illegal in many states and also provided them with a link to this forum to let them see how many people have been caught up in their trap. I will let you know if hear anything back.

Hope that is like a good HAHAHA. Just trying to help get the word out to as many people as possible. Gee, maybe if they did a story on these people, maybe a lot of them would go out of business!
