As of this morning, before I came to work there was not reply from Dateline, to my suggestion, but I will check my home email when I get home. It would be nice if the ones that were not operating legally could be exposed and also let people really see how payday loans work and hopefully prevent more people from being sucked into their trap and yes, maybe make our elected officials do a little more. Will keep you posted.

Would be nice, Tex--but the real story is what pocket do our lawmakers have their hand in, if you get my drift. In short, where is the money trail, right?

I just received an email from Dennis Best, MangnumZ LLC. Below is my original email and his response. Note that nothing was said about a refund or anything like that.

I also received a call from Route66. It came in on my cell phone and I was at work so did not answer it, but it also came across as "UNKNOWN CALLER", and they feel it is "imperitive" that I call them back about my account. Not calling. If they need to contact me, they can do so in writing.

So what do you all think....should I push for the refund or just go ahead and leave it as is?

Just sent Route66 another email telling them that they needed to correspond with me via email or letter "so I could have documentation for the AG". We will see what happens.

You know I could take great pleasure in sticking it to these people, especially the more I read about what they have done to others. Nothing like being menopausal/hormonal and dealing with A-holes!!!

Route66 said they were still going to debit our account due to the terms of the contract. Told them the bank is aware of us revoking permission for them to debit our account and will not release the money and the person said "Well we will see about that" and hung up on me.

I'd push for a refund. You are legally due it! As far as route 66 goes, they will try to debit your account. They also will not send you anything in writing. They are the worst to deal with. They will continue to call you constantly and don't care what you tell them.

As far as MagnumZ, I have been trying to figure out the best way/wording to email them back as far as marking my account paid in full and requesting the refund again. I don't want to misword it to where they take it as only marking the account PIF.

As far as Route66, I guess if they want to communicate with me, they will have to in writing because I do not have to answer the phone when they call, (don't answer calls I don't recognize the number anyway) and if they get carried away at work, I have someone here that will give them an earful about personal calls at work prohibitited and to call again. I already field some calls for one of the office people here, so ...... Still have not heard from anyone else, yet. I will have to check my email and regular mail when I get home and see anyone has replied to my letters. I will be so glad when this is all done!

Well, I am not a witch my nature, but I guess I didn't realize how much we had been taken for and the fact that I am trying to save my house makes me a little more witchy. Grant it, part of it is our fault, but we did not realize that we were just making things worse for ourselves.

Oh, did get a quick response from Dateline and they sent me a regular address to send my request to as far as a story about Payday loans, so once I get a few things straightened out or get a little more time, maybe this weekend, I am going to write them and see if they are intersted. Like what was said before, put the illegal ones out of business and make the others follow the rules and not cheat people, plus educate everyone about these types of loans.

My husband got a call at work today from Whistler Holdings. He did not talk them, but his supervisor gave him the message. My husband explained what was going on, so. But it was specifically stated in my letter that they did not have permission to contact our employers or call our place of employment and they did.

Guess another letter will be going out to them.
