MERCHANTS'CREDIT GUIDE CO.AND CLIENT NCO PORTOFOLIO is sending a bill for 2794.51.original creditor is amex .original creditor373704240412003 for EDUARDO B ALVAREZ.IT IS not my father in law that dies in 1998.

I'm confused . . . . Are you saying someone is trying to get you to pay a bill for your decesed father in law?

YES,GOUDAH AND THE WORST THING is that my father in
law never have a credit card in his life.my father in law was dead since 1998 and he have not a B IN HIS NAME.WHAT I CAN DO TO STOP THIS PEOPLE TO HARASSED my husband again and stoped to call here?
my husband speaks fluent english and told them is not his father.i think this people from merchants and
nco are very illegal.

funny you say that but NCO was sued by the Federal Trade Commission for $1.5 Million dollars. It is the largest judgement ever against a collection agency for violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

It is not funny to be in the shoes of my blind mentally ill husband and is not nice disturb a non debtor.

tsacgiv, if that is not your/your husband's/your deceased father-in-law's debt, send a full cease and desist letter to NCO.

letter.many times i think what go to happen with me

You are very deserving to be a member of this forum!! We are here to help people, and if no one needed out help than what would we do?

Everyone needs help at some point. Eventually you will learn enough to feel comfortable helping others with their problems.

If your PM box is getting too full and you really want to save the messages, you could always open up a word/text document on your computer, copy the text over, and save it onto your computer. If your PM box gets too full, I beleive you may not recieve all your messages.

Hey, we all have troubles otherwise we wouldn't be here. Can you obtain a copy of the death certificate to certify that your father is dead and he is responsible for the debt?

I am so sorry that you are going through this. This is the reasons why my children won't be Juniors because this same thing happened to my cousin because he had the same name as his dad.
