I sent them a letter yesterday telling them I won't be able to pay finance charges and that I am consolidating and they told me that they would not consolidate because the loan is new.

"quote
Your loan is so new that there is not an amount to settle so will not
>consider working with debt consolidation companies due to the fact that
>you just took the loan and there is no amount to settle.
>
>If you have further questions, please contact our office."

Has anyone worked with these people..because I do not understand "there is no amount to settle" I am new at this guys..

Geneva Roth Ventures is discussed many times on the board. They sound very pushy and rude. Do you have any contract copy from them? You should make sure that they are charging as per the laws of your state and have a licensed business.

Then you need to block them from your account and force them to work with you. They are going to call and make illegal threats. Make sure you file complaints with your state's Attorney General's office against them since they are not licensed in your state and they are charging you roll over fees. How many times has the loan rolled over?

These guys are bad news, they got their butts handed to them in several federal lawsuits when they were playing the collection agency game. Lock down your purse strings and get a attorney general involved. That might get their attention.

I got a call from a Mr. Harris there. He called my cell that is mounted in my truck. A friend borrowed my truck for the day and when it rang he attempted to turn down the volume as he was getting out of the car. He then heard some guy say....Oh you likeplaying gmaes?? This one is going to cost you! Lucky for me i have this recorded as all call get recorded on this on this phone as i get dispatched to EMS calls on this. I am guessing they will be really upset since i send a copy of the call to the AG and FTC.
