I'm unable to get these two accounts in to my dmp, chase gives the excuse that I was once in the program and can not go back in for another 5 years, i have a total of $2,639.24 40% of this is fee's anyway and bill me later will not accept me into the DMP for some unknown reason i think its beacuse they don't do that but its a total of 1,419 dollars with them. I'm looking to settle these myself I want to try to settle for as low as i can get them does anyone have any sort of information or letter on this? thanks

I haven't worked with those two, but I have had success with some original creditors, such as Sears and Capitol One. I simply said that I wanted them paid off, but with fees, and interest, I couldn't. They agreed to drop any interest and fees, and I paid out the balance in payments until paid. I did commit to a payment plan for a year. Might be worth a try..KAren

When you say they agreed to drop any Interest and fees was that the ones accumulated on your balance? If i dropped the fee's on my chase balance i bet it would drop down to 1,700 lol

No, I don't think they dropped the interes that had already accumulated, just interest from that point on, but talk to them and see what they can do for you..KAren
