I have about 24,00 dollars worth of debt that is unsecured. I want to see what my options are . I am having a hard time keeping current with the payments.

You need to talk to a counselor and know your options. One is already referred by this website after you filled the application form for the free counseling. You may call your creditors and explain your financial situation. They might give some extensions and lower down the interest rates and waive off the late fees. This will bring down the total balance.
