I am in lots of trouble. A few years ago I was sick and had to miss a week of work. I was fired because I had missed previous days, and had gone over my allowed amount.

Well I have 7 kids to feed and also 2 grandchildren. My husband has a good job but he always takes out some whore every weekend and comes home with little or no money to pay the bills.

Well last year I took out a total of 24 loans. 5 of them are storefront loans and the other 19 are internet loans. I paid off 4 of the storefront and 12 of the internet loans.

Since I had no job and my husband wasn't bringing home much money I had to get money somehow. Im ashamed to say it but I started sleeping with one of my neighbors for 50 dollars a time. I would make about 200 hundred a week from him. That was barely enough to pay 3 of the finance charges I had to pay. Soon I was sleeping with about 10 men a few times a week each. That was the only way I would be able to keep up with the finance charges. While I was making great money and able to pay off some of my bills it wasn't the way a wanted ,y life to be. I was sick of being seen as a piece of meat.

The day I decided to stop was the day my youngest child Davelle came home crying saying that all the kids at school were calling his mom a prostitute. I wish he would understand that the only reason I was doing it was so that I could feed his brothers and sisters and get them the best clothes out there and also so that I could bring myself out of this debt.

That was last year. Ever since that day I have stopped sleeping with men for money. But now these collectors keep calling me. I have no idea what to do. They keep calling my home and when my children answer they ask them what its going to feel like to be in a foster home. I hate these guys. What can I do. I owe about $3000 dollars still but with the interest there is no way I will be able to pay that off before I die. Can anyone help me?

I'm glad you've decided to change your life around!! Can you please be more specific about the collectors that are calling you? Are they for defaulted internet payday loans? If so, what collectors are calling you and what payday lenders are you dealing with?

Im not really sure. I always tell my children when they answer the phone now to tell anyone they don't know that Im not home. I don't open any letters in the mail that look like their from a collection agency, and I changed my email address. I can't stand dealing with these people.

They did tell my children that they are going to come and arrest me if I dont call them back and they are going to charge me with fraud.
Would there be any way I can sue them for this? This kind of stuff is totally out of line.

At this point, I think your biggest concern needs to be how to get out of this situation, rather than how to sue the collectors for their threats.

Have you checked into debt consolidation or settlement? If you go that route, you will need to have some sort of income for them to work with to pay your bills.

Changing your address, e-mail address, phone number, not opening the mail, etc., will only delay the inevitable. The collectors will find you eventually, through skip-tracing. They will hound you until they get their money. Now is a good time to take the bull by the horns, so to speak, and take charge of your life and turn things around for yourself and your children before one of those unopened envelopes turns out to be court papers from one of the unpaid creditors. Some of the payday lenders ARE LEGAL, and they will pursue you using legal methods, which could end up causing you quite a bit of grief, to say the least.

I'm not trying to upset you or make you feel badly about your situation - I'm just trying to speak the truth about the circumstances you find yourself in. You're not in a good spot right now, but it's not impossible to get out of, with some work and a strong focus on your family's best interests.

Thanks for the help honey!! Im just really scared and wish all this never happened. I guess I got to do what I got to do to get an income. Im older now so I don't know how the men will react to me working again, but you know what they say, the older the berry, the sweeter the juice:)

So sorry to hear about your situation, but am very glad that you quit doing what you were doing. You have came to a wonderful site and there are many people here that can help you by pointing you in the right direction to get out of your circumstances. Keep you faith up that things will get better and they will. Here you will find help, encouragment and support. Sometimes maybe even a little tough love, per say, but it is all good. Do some reading through the forum and what this site is about and you will find a world of knowledge and a few pleasant surprises.

Guest, reading your last post, I hope that you are not considering going back to doing what you were doing. There are other jobs out there and if you do not make enough, you might qualify for some type of assistance. A few things to look into, but please do not consider going back to other things.

Guest---I would also advise against letting your children even answer the telephone, if they are being subjected to the abuse you stated. They do NOT need to hear that about foster homes, etc.. Children worry about things like that and shouldn't have to.

Please work on finding other employment rather than selling yourself. Be a role-model for your children and show them how you are strong and can pick yourself up and go forward on your own two feet. Then when they become adults and possibly run into difficulties they will have you as a positive example of how to turn things around. Good Luck.

Sorry to hear about your situation...I am glad that you are trying to turn things around for yourself but the best thing to do would be to deal with these debts and not let this situation spiral more out of control....I don't enjoy dealing with collectors myself but eventually it will catch up with you

I am sorry for not answering back. I had my friend over.
I do not want to go back to selling my body but its the only thing I know how to do. Im not going to get a job at McDonalds making 7 dollars an hour. I can make 3 times that in 10 minutes. There is not really a choice if I want to keep my kids.
