over the years, i have accumulated several debts, and though they may seem small, they have built up, and now i feel at a loss. i don't know what to do, or how to take care of this debt. only $2000 is credit cards, the rest is medical, repo-d car (from a personal loan) and a few others. i need to fix my credit, and get this stuff off! help....

Your first step is to make a call to each creditor and make them aware of your positive intentions to pay the debts. Most companies are easy to work with because by accepting your plan, they will get their money back. By not accepting your terms, they don't get back their money anyway. Have confidence and put your payment proposals to the creditor. See the pages given below. You will learn how to negotiate with the creditors.
