Hi, aji, welcome to the forums!

You can find simple budgeting tools you can download online just by doing a quick search.

Budgeting is a great idea, because you can figure out in advance how much you need to allow yourself each month, week, or day.

Putting aside so much out of every paycheck, and buckling down to live by that amount can be a great way to start saving as well.

Start with adding up your rent, utilities, food, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses to determine what your monthly total will be. From there, you can determine how much to pull aside from each paycheck. The leftover balance is basically your allowance.

You should also try to put some into a savings account each payday. If you don't have a savings account, perhaps invest in a safe to hold your money.

Keep a ledger with all your activity, as this will help you determine where your money is going, and even help eliminate unnecessary spending.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.
