Disclosing of information

When a payday lender is contacting you about collecting "debt" from you, if you ask for their DBA do they have to provide that information to you?

I have asked two companies, so I could research on where their lending bank is located and neither company will disclose this information to me...

Yes, DBA names of the companies are meant to be public information. BBB often publishes the DBA names of different companies. Which company is hiding this info from you?

Anyone will understand that Westbury Ventures is hiding their business public information from the consumers. Don't be afraid of them. If you have an attorney, get him into the picture and put your case.

I am unaware of any law that states a business must give you said information just because you asked for it. It's supposed to be public record, but that does not mean a company has to tell you anything...they are supposed to report it to the appropriate governmental agency.

Agreed. But, what he said that it is private information is false and/or absurd.
