Here are the Payday loan laws for AZ ... (just select your state),
you can go to your attorney general's web page ..there is usually a link to the dept. of financial institutions or what ever your state calls it...where they have a list of all licensed lenders, etc. If your company is not on the list they are not licensed in AZ.

There is a big difference between internet payday loans or store fronts, licensed or not, and what state you live in.

I live in California. I have 7 Payday loans that sums to $3,100. I have paid the interest only for $2,670. Nothing in the principal. How can I reduce the interest?

missthang138: Go to your bank and have them put a freeze on all debits immediately. Once your account is secure, then you can start dealing with them. I sent my letters July 27th and received a refund and PIF from one pdl 3 days later. Yesterday I received another PIF communication. It takes time but it works. And I have my paycheck back, and I can sleep at night. If you take out a big loan to pay them off, you will be paying their fees along with what you borrowed. If they are illegal, you only need to repay the amount borrowed. So don't take out a loan to pay them off, the fee charged on a big loan will be very very high.
