You might want to take it off the forum. These companies do come on here and read the forums. Others have posted similar settlement offers and part of the offer was to not to discuss or disclose the conditions of the settlement offer. You may be putting yourself at risk if they come on here and read that you have posted their settlement letter and then they may revoke it.

It looks like a pretty common release. By signing it you say that you won't sue them, or pursue any other legal action against them. I'd go ahead and sign it and get the pif letter from them.

Yes, go to the post that started this thread, and you should see an edit button, just delete the letter. I have seen where somebody has done this and gotten into trouble and the company had revoked the HEFTY refund they were promised in the settlement letter, which was very similar to this one.

I took care of it. I don't want you to get into any trouble for disclosing the conditions of your settlement.

Thank you soooo much, but it's good to confirm that this is an appropriate document to sign.
Thanks again -- I was freaking out for a few minutes there!!
Your kindness and support is appreciated so much, and I hope I can return the favor some day!
