Internet's first get-out-of-debt community - 134,000 members

Jessi, short Q. 45,000 in debt, 7 credit cards, already con solidated but cannot make the payment of 1250.00 per month. Any suggestions.

When you consolidated, why did you agree to that payment if you couldn't afford it?

It was my wifes debt, and I was trying to stop the bleeding. I had a short time to do this, did not nderstand everything. She was working thought she could do it but has been on my back. we live in different states because of my job. Living expen., mortgage, ex., I am over whelmed. She is 46 I am 62.You cannot belive where this debt started. I used all my 401K and savings to get it down. we are now one year later.

I am just saying I evidently am not doing somthing correct, for I have given quick replies and I receive none. I have use several example: pollyandsay, is just one but get no replies to my questions. Frustrating.

I have also registered but when I use cfb, it will not let me send, and that is what I am registered under.

connie - the quick message gizmo doesn't always work - what it does is send a quick message to the user's homepage on this site, and an e-mail to their private inbox. If that user does not happen to be on the computer at the time you send it, chances are good that you won't get a reply from them right away.

We're not a "live" site where you can get instant answers, unfortunately - the best we can do is offer advice and suggestions whenever we are on - and if we don't know the answer to your question, the next member that comes on and has knowledge in that area will post an answer - but it may not be immediately.
