I was wondering if debt consolidation loan will be applicable to me which I have debt that is really past due since 2 years ago. Please let me know, if so what program.

Hi Diana, you will get a call from the consultant in your area. He will assist you in fixing a plan with your creditors.
While you wait for the call, calculate your total dues. You will find it easier to discuss with the consultant. Perhaps, you may ask the consultant to try for settling less than actual with your credit companies.

It wouldn't be a loan. The call you will get will be from a company that can help consolidate you debts into one payment. They will talk to the creditors to lower interest and such. But no money is loaned out, it's just someone helping you so you only pay the company 1 payment, then they split it into however many creditors you owe and pay them.
