Almost a month ago, I paid out Cash Central for the loan I made last year. You think that my woes with them would be over, but once again, they appear with some shocking news.

Dear Alexandra,

You are receiving this email because sometime in the past, you received a short-term loan from Cash Central. Your loan contract dated 0672006 disclosed an Annual Percentage Rate (apr) of 599.64% and needs clarification, as we recently discovered a minor clerical error occurred in calculating this APR. While the APR disclosure was accurate from the day you received funds for your loan, the correct APR should have been the day you executed your loan contract, or 524.69%.

Rest assured the error was simply a dating issue and no inaccurate charges were associated with your account. We have taken further measures to ensure this type of error does not occur in the future.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. We value you as a customer and look forward to assisting in your future financial needs.

Sincerely,

Cash Central

Should I request a refund since I have paid them in full? After this disclosure, I am so mad. Laughing

I would ask for one. They admitted there was an error on their part and they over charged you, so I say go for it. It is one of those things if they had not said anything you would have never known but since they did, definitly ask for a refund and include a copy of what they sent you stating they over charged.

Yes, ask for a refund. It sounds like they made the mistake so they should pay for it.
