I have a credit score of 674 which is considered fair. I was recently disabled and involved the the Katrina disaster in New Orleans all at the same time. I had to use my credit cards to move to another city and when I started receiving my Railroad disability, I had accumulated about $23,000.00 of debt. I need to get a loan as I am able to pay my bills now but I do not have much left over for incidentals that occur during the month. How can you help me? Thanks

Welcome....this is a debt forum. We discuss and help each opther become debt free. Taking out a loan to pay off debt isn't always a good idea. As a registered member you are able to take advantage of the free consult. They may have some ideas for you. Possibly a consolidation or debt management program might work for you.

Taking a loan to pay off your bills is not a wise decision, in financial crunch times its very important to prioritize your bills. Pay off the family necessities first, when money is really tight dont concentrate much on unsecured debts like credit cards n all. Prioritizing your debts should not be taken as ignoring debts. You need to pay what you owe but when you are under the mountain of debt it becomes important to put the important things first.
