Hi,
My names is Todd Hunsicker ref debtor Personal information removed for security.- Jason and my new address is Personal information removed for security. - Jason Phone number Personal information removed for security. - Jason
I am trying to get my 1099 for my bad debt that I have to account for income for my taxes. The phone number the company has where I left my contact information, and no one returns my call or mails me my 1099 from your company with my new address. What do I have to do in order to get my 1099 from Palisades Collection, LLC. You know this is a direct violation of the law by not providing me my 1099. If I have to I will contact legal or IRS to obtain my 1099 from your agency and you may subject to fines.
Please Help or I will take action against you,
Todd Hunsicker

Todd....this is not the site for Palisades Collection. This place does not provide loans. We are a group of people that help each other get out of debt. We offer advice and encouragment and personal experience in helping each other. Other than continue to contact them, I don't know what else to tell you to do in reference to getting your 1099. Someone here may be able to direct you where to go.
On a side note, when posting in a forum, you may not want to provide your personal information. You never know who may get it.

The number I have for Palisades is (800)873-5648
More importantly, the collector does not provide the 1099-C, the original Creditor does unless they purchased the debt.
On an aside, check out IRS form 982. Have your tax professional look at it, you may not have to pay taxes on that forgiven debt...
