![]() As to the GIQ [gadget in question], what's it called, and where did it come from? There are likely folks on here that would want to know, --- edited --- __________________

Lemme ask you kinda the same question I just now asked Socks... Where'd you find it, who makes it, and how much? Like I was sayin', there's likely people on here as would be interested in one.

I would have to agree with above post...(I think I have a lot of smarts but also came packaged with a lot of dumbs as well)...my oldest son is currently as we speak assembling new computer he bought on-line that was delivered today ...would have cost a ton more pre-assembled so he bought the components he wanted and is putting it together...he tells me about 30 mins. ago "Mom come look at this..this is the biggest "something something" ( Read... I'm not sure what he was talking about).... you can buy" Or something like that...I'm looking and say something like "Nice!" but also said "Dang! it was lots easier to be the authority when we were assembling a new Lego project"....
I am one who is not all that technical.... old school sort of thing..the info is only as good as the people who input it..therefore a paper chase almost always works for me kind of deal..ironically my first job I had in the late 70's was working for a dept store in the computer room..and back then..the computer I worked with was about as big as a motor home!it was more like a huge machine.. not like the things we get personal with and sit in front of and rely upon more and more....on one hand I've never had a virus attack my important records and clean them out...on the other hand I would never take it upon myself to set-up what wulf has done...instead I pay if I think it is worth it for the technology I chose not to learn enough about---and my hubby is simply into gadgets and gizmo's ,,,I remember I called this particular box after he told me he purchased... "Wickerwocky" until I saw it actually worked!-- wulf I only wish I could set-up the stuff you have! |

depends on how much you are willing to spend on a box I guess....might be priceless to some and worthless to others..worthless if you don't need..priceless if this gidgety gadget brought you peace of mind from harassing telemarketers in my case...or perhaps from someone you choose not to deal with on the phone or to even give them the satisfaction of phone ringing..I hope the BOX conversation has proved worthy to someone out there...only reason I post...not as a guest BTW!

Socks, my point in posting was this: There are all kinds of solutions available. It just depends on a persons needs and capabilities. I wanted to get the box info out there, in case it might help somebody.

I totally understand your points wulf....a guest comment above my last post asked
"is this box conversation worthless?" many of posts people make will indeed be worthless to some but as you said wulf "in case it might help somebody. " is the reason most people are here! |

thats why i posted it to help people it has helped me i foud it from the person who started this topic and just wanted to tell everyone how it has helped me. the person to person box i have it hooked into my phone line just when it comes into my house i did not want it to go to an answering system the call i rejected i just said any call i reject will not make my phone ring so when the 800 866 or election numbers come in my phone does not ring was it worth it to my not have your phone ring with telamarkerters at the end is a pleasure it was the best 100 i ever spent. im glad you did not remove what i said but when you found somthing that work to have a sunday wiithout the phone ringing except who you want it to ring for is a pleasure thanks once again for keeping the info here everyone who read this should read the preceeding pages to understand what the call rejection box is. i know im guest and will continue to be one so i hope i helped some of you out there with your creditor call over and over and over it just stops them dead
