got a call from these people today and I found this on their website "In retaining Consumer Recovery Network (CRN) to handle your debt(s), you will first authorize CRN to negotiate with your creditors. CRN will then obtain written settlement offers and forward them to you. You choose to accept or reject submitted offers. CRN's fees for full service settlements are earned on a contingency basis. Meaning; If you do not accept the settlement offer(s), you will have paid nothing at anytime and are under no obligation to accept any future offers.
Unlike most of the settlement industry that charges an average fee of 15% of the total debt, CRN's fees are based on 15% of the total savings."
How does this sound to you all? They want me to set up a phone talk with a Damon Day. Gas anyone heard of this company or this man?

Was this a cold call or did you call them first. If it is a cold call, I would proceed with a whole lot of caution.
I have not heard of this company, but do your research before you agree to anything. There are alot of scams out there.

No it was not a cold call. I found the name on Gerri Detweiler's website. This is the 3rd time I have posted this and you are the first to comment at all. Isn't the strange?

They have a website and it's their name.com. Not sure I can post it here. It just seems odd to me that no one here has heard of them. Where is Mobile these days?

Have you checked with the BBB and researched them. That would be my first action.

I have been searching for this company and have come up with nothing. Is this a new company?? Maybe I am just not looking in the right places. I will continue and let you know if I find anything.
Have you thought about doing this yourself. It will free up so much money for you to use towards your debt.

I went to the BBB website and searched their name and came up empty. The website, down at the bottom, says 2006-2008 Consumer Recovery Network, so that is pretty new. Did you find their website?
