I read on another post that the the law firm of Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP was suing Credit Solutions and that if you were a victim you could sign up with them.
Has anyone done this. Is it too late?? I am very anger at this company and would love to give it back to them. They stole thousands of dollars from me. But, I don't want to just sign up and not know anything about it. Any comments would be appreciated. __________________

Bobby - are you currently enrolled with credit solutions? If you are I would cancel as soon as possible. Read your contract because it tells you that if they are unable to settle any accounts you are entitled to a refund. So any of the accounts you were sued or ended up paying the full amount you should get a refund.
Now - you will have to fight for the refund. They will try to tell you that you are not entitled to a full refund on these accounts but this is not true. File a complaint with the BBB and/or your attornery general's office and they will be more than happy to give you your full refund. I had this happen and when I canceled they still wanted to charge me for 6 months. I ended up not paying them another cent and getting my refund. Please don't give these folks anymore of your hard earned money. __________________

I know that most of our employees came from there and really had nothing good to say about the company. I believe there is more than 1 law office filing a class action suit against them, I can't think of the other firms name, but when I do I will post it. They give the settlement industry a bad name.

Hi Erin,
Some companies have a very small window where you can cancel. I would give them a call as soon as possible. __________________

I have signed up with Credit Solutions in may 2006, I have explained them that accounts that I am enrolling are already in collection, they have assured that it is o.k they will stop collection calls and help me settle them. I have made $ 2030.67 in payment s, last payment was in 10/10/07 until then they never called asking how much I have saved up, or mentioning that there any offer to settle or possibility to settle. At that moment one of the collection companies sent a summons and complaint, and it was almost a year after my enrollment but collectors still called my number, not CS. I have contacted them about summons and complaint and they asked if I have saved enough money to settle my account, but the amount I have said I have saved at the moment they said will not be enough, when I have mentioned that I would better paid that money as a payment plan to collectors at least will not be sued the representative said:" oh then you will need an attorney". I had to close my bank account to stop them charging me the next month, because they refused doing it when I called, also the lady who handled my account said that she doubt they can refund the money, which I asked for because I decided to keep paying off my debts on my own. Ended up getting levy on my other bank account, none of the creditors ever heard that I was enrolled with CS and never received refund for my money, recently found the contract that i have signed with them and it is not saying anywhere that they not supposed to refund the money. I guess I should try joining a suit against them.

I also joined CS in June of 07. Nothing but headaches and phone calls. I have now taken my phone number off the contact information they have for me and only get e-mails. I am so frustrated because today I called and tried to get my settlement amount lowered with a Collection Agency - Zwicker and Assoc. I have been on a payment plan with them since last April 2008, thinking Zwicker would reduce the amount I owed, but NO I will end up paying what I enrolled this account into the program with $4929, and more since the lady in the settlement dept told me Zwicker refuses to take any less than 80% of what I owe. I have already paid off more than 50% of the original amount due to Zwicker - which handles Discover card past due accounts. Credit Solutions threatened that if I don't continue with payments for Zwicker they could start litagation against me and that would cost me even more. I am sooooooo tired of not getting anywhere with this company. I have already paid off all my fees to them as of Oct 2008 but I will still end up paying more than I owed on this account. I did sign up for the Class Action Suit that was referenced above so I hope that we all can take them to the cleaners since that is what they have done to us.

Its a shame that a settlement company would take advantage of people who are in desperate need. Sometimes I wonder how they sleep at night. If you have signed on with this company and got ripped off you should join this class action suit. It is time that people take charge and show these type of scammers that we are not going to put up with it any longer. You are paying them for a service (and alot i see from what im reading, too much!) and they are not delivering. Its sad that this sort of thing is happening as if you are not stressed enough!

I have personally have not used credit solutions so I didnt have any issues with them except for the facts in front of me. I saw the long list on the BBB of complaints, they lied they are not a member of BBB according to the BBB(why would they lie? What does saving money and settling have to do with these people loosing thier money? Unless you are saying that they may not understand what settlement is and what it does. That makes sense. Im just not sure what they have to be ashamed of? The fact that they are in debt? The fact that they chose a wrong company? or the fact that they are stating a fact that this company treated them wrong and didnt hold up thier end of the deal? Or that they are unsure of how settlement works? Can you elaborate on what exactly you are talking about when you say they should be ashamed?

Gee , I wonder if that " guest " post is an employee of Credit Solutions. Credit Solutions is a good company ? Are you serious? They have the worst reputation in the industry and they give the industry I work in a bad reputation. They have over 1600 complaints with the BBB. Also they were busted offering their services illegally in Idaho and had to pay around $588,000 back to consumers screwed by them. I can't wait till the class action lawsuit is resolved so they can really get what they deserve.

like i said i dont know much about this company only what is posted here. But the fact that they lied about BBB, Is screaming read flag! That would be all i need to know about this company to turn away and go somewere else. they are lying to gain trust, and that tells me they cant be trusted. And the combination of the long list of complaints through the BBB that would seal the deal for me.

Wow , you sure told me. Is that the best insult you could come up with ? Thats pretty weak man. Seriously ? What are you , like 6 years old ? One would think you could come up with something a little more creative if you are going to attempt to insult me.
