Not sure what I should do. I got a call today from the lawyers that have served me papers for a CC. She asked me today to send a hardship letter saying what I would like to settle the account for, where I will get the $, proff of income, and if not that Tax returns,
Should I send anything or will I regret it latter on.

It sounds to me like they are just fishing for information about your income. Do you receive regular wages and do you live in a state where they can garnish your wages if they win a judgment?

My wife does but not very much. I'm self employed so I do not.
New York so I'm sure they can garnish wage
