How did I subscribe to a post so I know when someone post an answer?

Under "Members Area" in the upper right corner, go into "Edit Profile." Near the bottom, right above the "Avatar Control Panel," make sure that "Quick Reply Mode" is selected as "Advanced." That way, when you post into a thread using the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of the screen, there will be a box that you can check to "Notify me when a reply is posted."
