You could probably settle the payday loans yourself. If you'll give us a little more information, we'll try to help you. Smile
State you reside.
Names of pdl's.
Internet or store front.
Amount borrowed.
Amount paid.

There are debt settlement companies that do pdl's but what you described is consolidation. The only company I know of that does that with pdl's is Town & Country.

Are these store fronts? If they are, find out if they're members of the CFSA (The Community Financial Services Association), if so, you are entitled to the EPP (Extended payment plan), which will allow you to pay them off in four seperate payments on each payday! But you must go in and ask for the EPP plan before you default. I'm thinking cash call is an installment type of loan?? If they are, the payday loan laws would not apply to them.

Cash Call is not a payday loan....You will need to work out a payment plan with them but be warned they are hard to work with.

Tell them you are having financial problems and you wish to pay the loan back. Tell them what you can afford to pay.

Right now I pay $169.00 a month(which they debit form my account at the beginning of every month)...so I should just give them a call and say "I want to pay $50.00 a month". Really?

Unfortunately it isn't going to be that easy, if they're debiting your account you'll need to revoke their authorization to do so, this is perfectly legal. However, I'm not that familiar with Cash Call so I can't say whether they will adhere to your revocation or not, but based on some of the posts by other members here at this forum, it seems they aren't very easy to work with. You're going to need to contact them one way or another and explain the hardship this payment is having on you, also explain that you will need to send them payments by USPS via money orders. Good luck!

Well, I guess if it were me that's what I would do, and I would just tell Cash Call that there was some illegal activity occuring on your account, therefore it had to be closed out. That only leaves them with one option, if they want their money back, and that is payments through USPS, and my option would be money orders. Just keep in mind it's important that you try to get them to agree to setting up a payment plan you can afford, I have no idea how they will respond. Confused
