Hello,

I would like to avoid bankruptcy...I did it once due to a divorce and never want to live through that again!

I am brand new to this form of debt elimination. I live in Canada and I would like to know if I can follow the same protocaol as the US?

As I cannot afford to pay in full on settlements can I make payments.....how do I begin?

Thanks
Judy

You would be best off dealing with a forum based in Canada...then you can talk with people who would be dealing with the same creditors as you.

Thank you,

I can't seem to find one in Canada, I searched everywhere and that's how I came to this forum.

I hope you're able to find a place like this for Canadians! I know this place has been so helpful for me. Even if we aren't able to comment specifically on your situation because there may be differences...you can always come here to vent and get support. Even reading other peoples' stories can be helpful. Good luck

~ Debra
