My sister worked with one of those companies and I believe they do post something on your credit. However if you are looking for a plan to pay off your debt, you may want to check out a FREE ebook on takecontrolbedebtfree-dot-com.

debt relief or settlement does affect your credit score but is a good option as it will help you reduce your debt levels. Freedom debt relief is a good choice.
