Mr. Evans stated Quote: "I have better things do. This is my last posting. I don't know why I even bother. Leave a comment if you like, but I won't read it, becuase I won't be checking this anymore".

So what happened? I thought he has better things to do then tinker with this site? I thought he will not be checking this site anymore?

You mopes can't help yourself can you? He can't help but read this forum. You guys are pure NARCISSISTS. ALL of you scammers. And he has the signs all over him. Paulmergel is right, YOU PROVE IT ISN'T. And answer the questions. If not shut the **** up.

I check this site from time to time to read all the silly back and forth about this debt free Finanacial. I think it is comedy how this "legitimate business owner" Jason Evans.. rants about how he has never done time and how he is going to sue the admin of this site for allowing random people to post their opinions. Has anyone ever heard the theory "me thinks he does protest too much"? in short it means: if it is a lie about him, posted by some other debt company, or even better, a former employee... why would he bother writing so many responses and chasing down the site admin, and getting an attorney involved? I mean if he is running his company so well and spent all that money that he "didnt have to spend" to "do it right" why worry? Another question would be why would a former employee spend the time to slam him? What does he do to his employees that would provoke such an attack? No, I am not in the debt business, but that doesnt mean I am incapable of researching the industry when a family memeber is lied to and swindled into a situation by a used car salesman posing as a "financial advisor". As I said in my earlier post, the whole credit industry is full of dishonest, evil people. It simply doesnt matter what company you chose to go with, there is a better than good chance you will get screwed. When there is that much money involved, someone is going to hide something. My sister paid over $6,000.00 in fees for this "program". I am aware that is right about what most companies charge, but it is still quite a lot of money. When there is that much money at stake, how can you trust anyone to be honest? As for this owner, the only thing I could really find about the guy is that he used to own a mortgage company.. now since this country is in such a terrible situation due to the MORTGAGE CRISIS.. are you sure you want to turn over your credit card problems to a guy that owned a mortgage company? I mean what qualifies this guy to offer advice on credit cards? Where did he get his financial degree? so you are trusting your financial future to a guy that made his money convincing people to take bad mortgages?? If you trust this guy.. you get what you deserve...

Mr. Evans why does your customer service ring to a voice mail machine and no one returns phone calls?

Mr. Evans why have you changed the name of your company three times in the past six months from “Debt Free Financial Group” to Modifyyourloantoday.org to United Financial Services Group.Org?

Why if you are located in Irvine California does your address come up as a POB in Burlingame California?

Why have your sales people have tried to sell me a loan modification when I called on status of my debt settlement that your company has done nothing with and now I am being sued?

Why are you doing loan modification if you are not approved to by the California Department of Real Estate to accept an advance fee?

Sooner or later they will catch you and put you where you belong!

I joined Debt free Financial in January of 2008. I was given the spiel of how they were going to get rid of all my debt and they start working on it as soona s payments are being made, etc.
What a laod of BS! They hide behind ther double talk to get you to ign up. Once they do, tehy take your money and do nothign for you, leaving you to STILL deal with the credit card companies. They tell you that they cannot/will not get in touch with the card companies until they have taken out enough money to "settle" with them (that's if the CC will accept their offers).
After enarly 9 months of them taking my money, I fianlly had to answer BoA, as they called continuosly for a hour and a half. I'm glad I did answer (even though these schmuks would tell you to not answer the phone). Theyw anted to settle, and at a very reasonable offer.
Of coruse, Debt Free nearly f'd that up. I forwarded them all the info and they dragged their a$$es in getting in touch with BoA (I actually ahd to call Debt Free and keep reminding them to get this done) and mossed the deadline. Fortuanately, BoA was still willing to honor the settlement.
With the second card I was using them for, I actually went and settled that on my own, as they were going to file a law suit; and again, I got a good settlement rate.
So, basically, they took my money and did nothing until I forced them to settle with BoA and than i got the hell away from them.

After some medical issues came up and I was off work for a significant amount of time I needed to get help with some fo the debt I accrued over time, due to my medical problems. We decided to go with debit free financial group, last Oct 2008. It is now end of July 09 and they have not done anything, except for taking my money. I am now threaten from two creditors to garnish my wages and have been takent to court three times. This group is worthless and should be shut down. What was told to me numerous times was not infact the way of their practice. We did sign a contract, although, now looking through it again, it was very vague in some very important areas. At which times, we didn't know what particular questions to ask. Now we fear they will take our house and wages. If they take our wages, we won't be able to make our house payment, let alone any other payments. This group has done nothing but ruin my credit. When we signed up we were still in good standing with each creditor. Now our credit is crap. We thought we were being smart by joining this group to help us manage/pay off of creditors. It was actually the worse thing we could have done!!!!

I've been with American Financial Services for 1,5 years now, they settled 2 accounts for a low payment and I am quite satisfied with them. You fax all the information from credit collectors, keep a call log etc. get everything in written form. They have always responded to my call back requests, emailed me my account activity and payments have been going through no problem. I pay them a small monthly amount which is OK as I havent had to deal with collector calls etc. So far nothing bad to say, I hope this won't change... I recommend these people anytime.

I have been with Debt Free Financial for a little over a year now and they have done NOTHING wrong!! The post here regarding how they are a scam, steal money, and no one can ever get through customer service is lame.
First of all, to hire a consolidation company to take care of your debt you must have patience. Yeah, it does take a few years to get everything together and clear debt. I was never told that I would not get sent to collections or get sued or anything. Infact, they did say it can be a possibility, but they would do everything they can to AVOID it.....not promise it won't happen. I was told everything in detail on what could happen through the program AND I was given the option to back out if I felt uncomfortable going through it in the beginning. I had read blogs before signing up with the company and called/emailed and asked them to rectify them and they did.....whole heartedly within 24 hours.
Second of all, I get through to customer service every time I call. Yeah, I have to hold for a couple minutes usually, but I always get my questions answered plus they ALWAYS call me back regarding anything I fax in or e-mail. They even have called me back a FEW times for one document after I had spoken to them about it and resolved it. They are THAT on top of it. We already have 2 debts settled...and we did not have to do a single thing other than approve the settlement. They did everything. Plus, they send us a statement every single month as to how much money our account with them has accrued so we can see exactly where our money is going each month.
Unless there is another company using this same name, I believe research needs to be done before anyone joins a debt settlement company. I'm sorry most of you are going through all this with a so-called "Debt Free Financial" company.
