i took out a loan with them and they are using Westburry collection agency here is the mailing address i have

Anybody know how I can get a hold of these people? I took out a payday loan with them months ago, and never received any info from them about how to pay off my debt and they just continue to take $90 from my checking account every payday!!! I want to pay this off, was only supposed to be a 28 day loan and then pay off, they have now debited me $90 for 18 pay periods!!!

There's an address in the post above yours. I would close your bank account so they will quit taking from it, and open a new one. Google them and see all the things others have done and said..Karen

Finally got a hold of these jokers today by phone, actually got the number off of one of these posts, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! They said they sent paperwork to me in the mail the day my loan was funded which was in September! Never received anything! They are supposed to send me something in the mail ASAP so that I can get these loan paid off. Thank you again for the help!

Whatever you do, don't give them your new bank info, that is, if you get a new account. If they have proof that you took the loan, I would just tell them that you will pay by money order and that is ALL..Keep us updated on what happens...

Hi, I got approved for a loan with them over the phone and then they send me an e-mail saying that my "loan was denied". I wish that they would make up their mind and tell you from the very beginning. They can't even call you back and tell you to your face! I am telling all my friends not to even contact them for a loan approval and I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau also! They are nothing but a scam company and I want everyone to know that!

enga49, consider yourself very lucky to have not gotten approved for a loan from them. I also think it is a good thing for your friends not to do business with them.

Your rights on dealing with the debt collectors are defined in the FTC website under the fdcpa laws. Go through this link below and stand as an informed consumer.

Who is the collection company calling you? Do a search on them in the collection agency forum and read their posts. It might help you in knowing more about the company and how you need to prepare yourself.

This is the same company as Bass and Associates. YOu will not be jailed and they cannot threaten to do so. COntact the FL AG and file a complaint. Again, it is illegal for them to threaten you with jail. And the only federal offense commited here is them telling you that!
