hi,
I own a small business and own one of my vendors quite a bit of money. I have been making payments and just made $18,000 in payments two weeks ago. They are calling me again requesting more money or they are assigning me to an attorney. Can they do that if they are receiving payments even if they are past due? Thanks

oh gosh, that problem sounds like it would be best answered by an attorney! I guess it would depend if there was anything in your contract with the vendor about legal actions if payments were late or something.

Is your business a corporation, S Corp, LLC, partnersership or sole prop?

Hi Debt Lady. I don't have an answer for you but I wanted to welcome you to the forum. Someone should come along fairly quickly who can help you out. Just wanted to offer moral support and let you know that you are not alone with this debt thing. Good luck.
