Companies like Harvest credit Management buy the rights to these accounts for about 5 to 10 cents on the dollar then try to collect the full amount. If they attempt to sue you make sure you make them produce the ORIGINAL request for credit and that the name of the company (Barkley Bank Delaware) is the name shown on the lawsuit. It won't be. They never get it right and you have the right to DEMAND they produce the original in court (not a copy) which thay can't.
Also DEMAND that they produce the contract between themselves and Barkley giving them SOLE rights to collect. They won't have that either but if you do not do these things you could end up paying them and still owing the original bill to Barkley which they could then sell of to yet another collector.
They nor Harvest are to be trusted as far as you can see them.
