How does the BBB notify me if a complaint I filed online against a pdl has been answered or resolved? Would they send me an email or do they send something in the mail?

They will send you an email telling you that they contacted the other party and how the other party responded. Then they would like you to respond accepting, counter offering or declining. The they will come back with a response again and ask you to respond. I my case the payday lender would not give an inch and accepted the negative. They already had an unsatisfactory rating so they did not really care.

I forgot to login when I posted that query. I filed my complaints online on June 10. And I am waiting to hear back from 4 companies.

It may take some time to get a reply depending upon the pdl companies if they respond to the AG. Send a follow up email to the AG and inquire about your case.
Which companies did you report to the AG?

Both the companies have negative feedbacks from their customers. I hope the AG replies back with a positive response for you. Promise today that you will never fall into this mess again!

I did have success with my BBB complaint against Cash Supply, they agreed to settle for what I legally owed on the loan ($150, not the $500 plus they were demanding) And I was notified by email within 7 days of the complaint.

When you file a complaint with the BBB, you put in the company's name and address and then the proper BBB comes up to show you which BBB will be handling your complaint. Just go to bbb.org and submit a complaint. Once you enter the information in, you'll get all the BBB contact information.
