Does anyone have contact information for B&L Marketing? That is how the withdraw comes from my account, but I have no idea where to find an 800# for them.

I am a new member as of yesterday, and I have to add this website is so helpful and encouraging! Good luck to everyone!

I found this thread for you from another member

Their number is 1-866-656-1136 and the fax number is 1-866-370-7045. The key is they will continue to debt your account until you fax them a written statment with your intention to pay down or pay out. Hope this helps.

Take the help of your bank and dispute the item with the company. Does the company have your authorization for these debits? If they cannot verify the transaction, the excess amount needs to be reverted back.

There are a lot of payday loan companies out there that have the option of paying the loan off in incriments set up by the company's own website. Unfortunatelu B&L Marketing does not provide this service, thereby robbing the public. BE AWARE!

I also stopped payment after they deducted 4 payments of 75.00 each for a total of 300.00. Now a firm hired by B&L is calling wanting another 655.00 and threatening criminal prosecution all this for a 250.00 loan. It's obvious who the crooks are. Does anyone know if I need an atttorny ? BEWARE!!!!

I too have been robbed by B&L Marketing, who continued to take a fee of $90.00 from my account. I contacted my bank, but they were unable to provide a telephone number. A firm has also contacted me demanding over $700 and threatening prosecution, as well. Who protects the consumer in this type of deception?

Talk to your attorney generals office and see what they suggest. Odds are that this company is not licensed in your state and they will go after them. Also see who does your payday/small loans licensing for your state and contact them. They can offer you suggestions on how to deal with them. They can also go after the company and fine them for doing business illegally in your state.

Great to know all of this. I was looking for their number too and now I am worried. I found it from this web site. I hope I don't run into the same problems. I think you have to fax them and tell them to debt the whole amount and not just the refiance fee. Don't just close your bank account. Keep your documents that you faxed to them requesting they debt the full amount. Once they do that then if they continue to take money out they do not have authorization then you can in turn close your account and sue them. Just make sure you are fullfilling the contract.

I had a $300 loan thru this company. They charged me many $90 fees on dates that I did not authorize them to debit from my account. Instead of paying the loan back, I filed a claim with my bank saying all the charges were fraudulent. My bank returned the original loan amount of $300 to the company and then gave me back all the $90 fees to my account. I then closed my account because B&L tried to pull out all those $90 fees without my authorization. B&L came up with an erroneous balance that I owed them and this went to a 3rd party collection agency. In time I disputed these charges saying they were all fraudulent and it was wiped off my credit report. Really there was no way they could prove I owed them that money. And don't listen to attorney's scare tactics because that's all they are.

Thanks for the number on how to reach this company, because they don't have a direct website. They debit my checking account $75.00 every 2 weeks and I am going broke trying to keep up with their payments and my other bills. I wanted to set up to pay just $50 a month until the loan was paid off, but they said that they couldn't do that. Has anyone else had this problem?

their phone # is 866 656 1136 / fax 866 370 7045. The only way to clear the debt is to send them an email to blmservices@earthlink.net advising them how on how you want to handle the debt. Be aware of your due date and ensure you contact them a minimum of 3 days prior to the deduction date. I would send the email way before the due date and call 3 days before to ensure the email was received and the request was processed correctly. Unfortunately, you can not make arrangements over the phone. It must be in writing via fax or email. You can however, speak to someone in their accounting department. Note that whenever you make a payment your principal balance will be reduced along with the fees for the loan that are being deducted. The continuous fees that are being deducted are the refinance or renewal fees for the loan / unpaid balance. If you pay on the loan the refi fees will be reduced by $15. The key is to pay the loan off as fast as possible. pay the loan in increments of $50 and you will see a difference.
