Love the site...I had originally talked to some guy named Sixfert or something like that back in April. (if you know the background on him, you know I can't bring myself to go with him any longer) He told me to hold on and not contact BofA until 5 months later. Then settle. I have not made a payment since. (he told me the 5 months wouldn't start until after May...not sure about that) I haven't heard a peep from BofA. Maybe one or two calls at the most. It's getting to September (or October...not sure which is the 5 months period time to wait) Does anyone know about when to settle with BofA? How to settle with them. ANY CLUES. I'm grateful not to have given any money to Mr. Lombardo, but I also need help on how to settle so I don't get sued.
Thank you all in advance for your assistance.

inkroar, wow that is amazing. For me I do not know how to settle, nor do I have the patience. I went with Superior debt relief, for my bank of america account they were able to settle it for 22 cents on the dollar, being so thrilled they were able to do that for me because that was my largest debt. If you wanna do this on your own, have you been saving the monthly payments so when you call them soon that you have money to work with. When looking into what to do for myself some articles of how to, suggest saving the money and using that to settle with creditor. I found the whole darn thing complicated, confusing, frustrating...that i have a company doing it for me. Good luck.

Man! - what a sec! Superior debt relief you say did that for you? How long ago was that when this happened? Does anyone have this same experience? My debt is not as large as some here. Mine is close to $16,000. The others are so small I can manage taking them out on my own.

It was about 4 months ago. my debt was pretty large, was able to leave out 2 of my small cards which I could take care of. Placing all my faith and confidence with superior debt relief was the best decision for myself.
