Yes, They were the first ones to send me a letter. They dropped to 9% and stopped all late and over the limit fee's. Hope that helps..

I don't have Capital One, but I think a lot of the creditors will work with the programs. The creditors want their money back & sometimes this is the only way for them.

Did you call Capital One & ask if they'd participate with a dmp?

You might also want to talk to Cap One & see if they can't lower any rates for you so you can pay them back

well I'm about 2 payments behind on both my husbands and mine, so we are looking at about 600 to catch them up, when they called me the other day the person was basically insisting on a pay-by-phone to catch it up.

Don't be intimidated by them-Discover did the same to me when I was just starting the plan. I refused to give them my bank info as I don't want them to keep taking my money!

Have you called for a free consultation here? It really helps sort your options.

Wow, you guys had some issues with your creditors big time...like lawn said don't let them intimidate you. Capital one worked with my debt consolidation program very well and were happy to get the payment they did from my company. they're very good to work with in my experience as long as you communicate with them along the way and a representative of CO will tell you what information they need from you.
