Iwas an authorized user on my ex-husbands credit card. Does this make me responsible for the debt, or just a user. The account is closed but there is still a balance my credit reports show me as authorized user. I live in Massachusetts. Is there a way to resolve this.

It's just because you are the authorized user on the credit card, you are not responsible to pay your ex husband's debts. The reason is you never signed a contract with the credit card company and cannot be held responsible to pay the debt.
Since your ex has an outstanding balance, the payment history will be reported on your credit as well. Get your name removed as an authorized user from all credit card accounts as soon as possible.
