I've been dealing with them for a few months. I thought they were an 'answer', to an issue I was having. They took over my Cash Call loan. When I FIRST spoke to them, they said they were a CA. NOW they say they are NOT a CA, buT, some kind of firm. I had to re-arrange a payment arrangement with them. They said, " because I did that, I defaulted with them." I don't get it. They ALSO said something about a " legal team" in their company....also about garnishments, etc. "Maybe making a settlement." Good grief!! I've got nothing from their 'legal' department. I called them ( again) today to tell them I would be sending what I could, each month. They said they would not accept payments "lower than originally agreed upon." According to them, I have recieved something in the mail.I told them I din't recieve ANYTHING. Should I make payments via Money Order and keep the receipts? Any suggestions would help.

I worked for this company for a couple of years.
I have no reason to defend them, but I have to tell you, they are an upstanding company, as far as debt collections go. I have worked for some pretty crappy places that have done some pretty crappy things to customers, but these guys aren't bad. Yes, they do have a legal department, and yes, they do agressively sue on accounts that they are able to. If you have paid them, you brought your loan back into statute and depending on the amount you owe, they can opt to sue and get the max through the courts.
They will work with you, but they will expect you to follow through on your agreement or they won't mess with you.
I hope that helps some. Confused

Thanks for the reply. Are they a CA, OR..some kind of firm?..OR..what?? I'm just not getting answers, when I have questions for them. Just about every time, I've spoken to them on the phone, I get hung up on. How rude!! I may not beable to send what they want a month, but, if I send them SOMETHING, will they accept it? Thanks for your advice.

They have to accept any payment from you it doesn't matter. They will say anything to get you to pay that bill! My boyfriend has been dealing with them because an account he was an authorized user on has been sold to them and they trying to say since California is a community property state he has to pay it.
