I think that is great news for CA consumers! They must have been hit with a cease and desist order to refrain from conducting anymore business in CA. That state is hitting these internet pdls hard!

You may want to check with division of financial institutions or consumer protection office to see if they are actually licensed in your state.

I owe a loan to them, they said that after it returned a 2nd time they would work with me on payment arrangements. They put in a few small charges along with the big one into my checking causing me more nsf, now I am pissed. I am not agreeing to anything till they deduct all NSF fees they have caused me. Will update you later

I have a PDL with them too and I thought they were actually in Utah. Are they also related to Geneva-Roth?

The woman I talk to at cashnetusa were pretty cooperative, the man was a complete jerk! I refused to even talk to him. I have to contact them today and try to set something up. In the meantime, the bank manager told me that they have to have a court order to put your account on credits only in Pa now. Isn't that a crock, nice consumer protection huh. She did say that I could complete paperwork to have these guys disabled from debiting my account. Will do that today.

Fedup, you must be dealing with Wachovia. They are the worst in taking care of their customers.

Definately get them blocked, Fedup. Also, what does having your account put on credits mean? I'm not familiar with that term.

They are licensed in CA but probably under a different name. Please remember that they were recently purchased by a publicly traded company. (I cannot remember the name off the top of my head) Their license was just renewed in September 2006. Licenses are usually good for 1 yr.

Kscornell--

I don't think Cashnetusa is affiliated with Geneva Roth.

Rach-- Cashnetusa also goes by the name "Check Giant."
