Are your credit cards shut off during debt consolidation?

Your query is not clear to me.
Are you asking whether debt consolidation not including your credit cards will affect your credit card payments?
If you don't include your CCs in the debt consolidation program, then your payment schedule or payment amount will not get affected by any means.

I am not sure but it probably depends on the credit card company policy. If your credit cards are in consolidation, you wouldn't want to use them anyways. Just more debt to pay back.

Yes, I believe you won't be able to use your credit cards during debt consolidation. Which probably is a good thing so you don't charge them all up again.

All of our credit cards were shut off when we joined our dmp. Which I think they should be. If you are in trouble you certainly should not charge anymore. That's the idea of the plan, to get you out of debt.
