CCC is a scam

Dont let these people sucker you they are crooks and scam artists. They work for a Credit Counsler and they want you to pay them instead of paying your bills. If you take your advise you will lose money and still not have your bills paid.

Instead of listening to them call collectors negotiate settlements or payment plans show good intentions.

Appeal old debts to the three credit agencies send appeal letters on older debt they will be removed.

Dont let CCC scam you you can fix your credit you dont need them.

This site isn't a scam. It's a site for debt advice and consolidation and isn't affiliated with CCCA. No one is forcing any one to pay money for debt consolidation services against his/her will. This may be a moot point, but more people might be willing to heed your advice if you would use proper spelling and punctation; these make it easier to understand posts.

You said if they take their own advice they will lose their money. What do you mean by that? We help people keep the there money by not giving it to that are trying to charge more than allowed by law or are illegally threatening people. Why negotiate when you do not owe? Especially with thugs.

They are referring to some credit counseling agencies are taking people's money and not settling debts and running off with their money. There are a few companies out there like this, there are many complaints on this board about a company named Hess Kennedy. Whether they are true or not, I can not say, only the consumers who feel they were misrepresented and the companies have run off with their money. I don't believe this is directed at this forum, only certain credit counseling company(s).

Don't know about that but I believe CCC stands for Consumer credit counseling. I can also say that the local CCC in my city is legitimate and does help people who are in need of that type of assistance.

Hi Joshua, I modified the previous subject line "This website is a scam"

I am sure the poster is confused with this website thinking it to be CCC. I thought of keeping it real, as it's directed to.

Regards
Mike

I would ask any of our posters to use caution when seeing advice like this. There are numerous laws to protect consumers and any repayments made on past obligations should be made in accordance with those laws to protect your rights.
