fedupinpa -

CheckNGo Online may be an affiliate of the storefront CheckNGo - do you know if that's the case? If so, this is one of the companies that is most likely legal and licensed. You need to take care when dealing with them and not try to force their hand. They will most likely attempt to pursue legal action against you, including judgement and garnishment of your wages.

You will probably need to work out a payment arrangment with them - I would advise calling them and trying to work it out. Please let us know what you come up with.

Suebee, They may be affiliated but different rules do apply. They have already signed a cease and desist letter in WV not to do business here. I would think if its the internet one that they have to follow the interest rate of the state you are in. KYSIDE38

Check and Go online is the same company as the stores. I think they have licenses in every state that offers licenses. I believe they used to have a bank to make the loans in the other states before the federal government made the banks shut that down too. Basically there like a storefront except they don't have your check.

It depends on your state With me I have to make three payments the original loan 380.00 62.00 intrest made it 442.00 they divided this was 147.34 the first payment 147.33 for the next two. Check your state laws on this. Both the online did it for me and the store front made this arrangment with my Husband Good Luck but getting out of these loans is such a load off my mind

Do you think I should contact them before they contact me? I owe them quite a bit more than that and it was the online store not the storefront. I was just wondering what their attitude was about working with me on payments. I could do it in about three paychecks and still eat. Has anyone dealt with them online with collection efforts? Hopefully they are cooperative.

I'm assuming by you name you are in Pennsylvania?

Pa is a non-garnishment state, so they can't garnish you wages. Also, I don't think it's a big enough debt to levvy your accounts. They can use a wage assignment, but if it comes to that you can revoke it.

I'm willing to be they'll make an arrangement with you. Just tell them what's up, if they're convinced that you're sincere I think they'll work with you..You are not the first person they've seen default! Laughing I think things will work out fine.

I will approach them first thing tommorro morning, that way maybe they won't hound the crap out of me. I have to get my bank to put my account on credits only for a while. I guess if they want their money they will appreciate my honesty with them.

Thanks to you guys I can see the light at the end of the tunnel through this website, thanks for all the support and information. It helps to know that I am not the only one in this mess, it gives me hope and courage to face these jerks.

fedupinpa - stand strong. You WILL come through this in fine shape, but it takes time. You can do it - and we're here to answer questions whenever you have them!

I took out a $200 loan from them earlier this month (yes, yes, I know, feel free to pile on) and I wasn't able to pay back the $240. They were able to put me on a payment plan of two $120 payments. The people at the store location near me were very nice, not pushy and very willing to help out. I think Check N Go is one of the better pdl places out there. Heck, they even recommended I never take out one of these types of loans again!
