You will be getting a call from a counselor referred by this website. Get your latest statements and other account information. He will figure out a plan that best fits in your situation.

What type of loan is this for that large of an amount? My hubby has a personal loan with them that he consolidated in a debt consolidation program. They have been easy to work with.

The loan was to pay off some bills that I had. Now I was one month late paying them and I am so sick of them calling me constantly none stop everyday. I rather just consolidate if I can. Do you recommend any good consolidating programs.

Yes, they are relentless if you fall behind. My husband is with our local chapter of Consumer credit counseling. You should be able to find their information in your local yellow pages.

I'm saying this because of perssonal experience with CitiFinancial. I have a vehicle financed through them. When I have some very 'tight' months, Citi has REALLY worked with me. I'm very satisfied with dealing with them. I know others who have had fallen behind with payments, or, have let their loans go into 'default'. Even after ALL of that, Citi worked with them to make payment arrangements with them.
