Does anyone know of a reputable debt consolidation company that I can contact? I live in NJ. I tried the one listed on this site but they told me I needed to have at least 3000 dollars in credit card debt. I don't have a huge amount of credit card debit but I do have other debits, which was why I wanted to consolidate everything together.

You can try Langhorn or T&C. I think there is lots of info on both if you do a search in the above search box.

I did call T&C and I think asking for 300 dollars up front is a lot of money. I know all consolidation companies have their fees but 300 dollars! Too much.
