Please advise

IMO once an account gets settled it appears as "settled for less" on the credit report.

Just hang tight someone will soon be around with more expertise on this matter to guide you through.

You are correct tweetyturner at least in my situation. I had this happen with First Premier and it is listed on my credit report as "settled for less". Perhaps you could work out a deal with them if you can afford to pay it off with the amount that they presenting to you separately and that they just note that it was paid in full. (Don't know if that's even possible but worth a try IMO)
