I am writing you as an ex employee of Credit Answers. I would NEVER, NEVER, NEVER recommend Credit Answers or any other "settlement company". THey are ALL designed to collect money up front. By the way, their salespeople, which was my position, are payed according to when you pay your first few payments. So, obviously, they will tell you anything to get you to make a few payments. They really provide no help in settling your debts. Think about it. If you stop paying your debts, at some point, they will settle with you. They don't want to sue you anymore than you want to be sued. They WILL settle. Especially after you are in the program for a couple of years.

Do NOT hire a settlement firm. They have no interest in helping you settle your debts. They want your money and nothing else.

BTW, when they tell you not to talk to your creditors, there is a reason for that. Your creditors will settle directly with you, and Credit Answers doesn't want you to do that because you will stop paying them their money and settle yourself.

Sounds like a disgruntled employee. Just because you have an issue with a former employee , don't group all settlement companies as evil.

Thank You All. I have heard this Co. advertised on the radio and was going to call them, but thought I would google their name before I called the 1-800 number. SOOOOOOOO glad I checked. I am so sorry for all you who have been taken advantage of, ESPECIALLY the 80 year old woman!! But I say a prayer of thanks to you all for keeping me from getting involved with these scums.

We thought this company would be able to help us but looked into the company more and found this web page - we then decided to to ahead and cancel our contract because we are still within our 10 day period but got totally harrased by our specialist JASON TOWERS - would not just take no for an answer, ended up hanging up on him - will tell everyone to be aware about this company and I find it hard to believe that they have their company adverstied on major radio shows - I think their advertising group should look more into who they have sponser them.

I think it is funny when everyone on this list hasn't admitted they are the problem! None of the companies ran up the credit cards and none of the banks stopped you before it got out of hand, so why take your spite out on a company that probably does help customers who actually admit they messed up and will accept the consequences that come with it. Bankruptcy is no picnic and most people can't afford the credit couseling or debt consolidation either. Bottom line is to not max out every card in your wallet and take financial responsibilty for a change. Seriously do you think debt just goes away if you cry like babies?

well thank you for your two cents, honestly if you dont believe that there is any reason for anyone to ever get into trouble with debt it must be a nice world to live in. Till then if your gonna stick around fine, but dont judge others for something you obviously dont understand

Hi there,
Noteworld is actually a financial institution that debt settlements use as the third party agency that handles your payments. For example, the payments you make go to noteworld and sit in your trust account, then any funds that are owed to the company you are with, Noteworld pays them their cut.
Being in the consumer financial resolution business for 8 years now, I have never heard of any company selling someone's debt to Noteworld, as they are solely a financial institution for settlement companies, not the actually company that settles your debt.
Hope that helps!

Noteworld and Global Client Solutions are pretty much the two major financial institutions that debt settlement companies use as the third party agency that handles their clients payments and settlement funds.

This company is a SCAM!!!!! Just like the past employee stated, they take your money and do NOTHING! I could have ..not paid my accounts (which they told me to do) and received a settlement ON MY OWN, without paying credit answers over $2,000. MY MISTAKE!! Now I have to file bankruptcy. STAY AWAY!!!!!! They make it sound like the creditors wont send you a settlement amount if you don't sign up, but they will. You're better off doing it on your own and not paying these SCAM ARTISTS money to send you an email once a month and let your credit score go to hell!

WOW I just called this company for the first time last night and I'm glad I'm doing my research BEFORE the "represenative " calls me this afternoon. This company sounds like it has alot of problems with staff and they way they do business. I will rethink my approach to solving my credit problems.

I have had the same problem. My "coach" had not called since July, I made several attempts to contact them by e-mail and phone. Daniel said she had several records of attempting to contact me. This had not happened until the end of November and one attempt in October. I finally was able to discuss with her my "fees" and negotiations, I was then informed that I have only paid them over 4000.00 and no savings were accrued for my debt. This company provided no service for me and I still have a debt that must be paid and a loss over 4000.00.

I checked with the bbb and found all these complaints before I signed with this company.
So I did not have to suffer any setbacks by there scams. I am dissappointed more with the Rush Limbaugh Radio show for having this company as a advertiser. In any event when I reported back to CREDIT ANSWERS that I checked them out and was not interested. This is what they said. Person I was dealing with or ALMOST dealt with was Eric. This is what Eric said about my investigation into his company CREDIT ANSWERS.

"You can remove yourself from these automated emails as our system has a place for you to do this!.. Good luck since your into researching things try using the BBB on every part of your life.. You will see this is a useless outdated form! Your corner grocery store, gas station and all the places you do business with will have far more complaints!

...I heard their radio ad and quickly called them, BIG MISTAKE they will take
their fees up front like for the first 14 payments and then the rest is saved
up suppossedly to pay your creditors, things went from bad to worse lost my job
and i couldn't make the monthly payments and I lost big money because they
WILL NOT REFUND YOU ONE CENT !!! they ignored all my emails and calls
about a refund, what a mistake I do NOT recommend CREDIT ANSWERS !!!
its just better that you make deals with your creditors yourself...
