I applied for a payday loan, and the I receieved a call from a CSR for mGeneva Roth. She verified my account information, and said the money would be deposited into my accoutnt the next day. the money was in my accoutn, but the very next week, money started being withdrawn from my account. My account is now in the negative by over $200. I have no contact info. for them, and have never heard from them again!!! They are scammers, and should be arrested, people have it hard enough without people like them making more troulble for them.

Well, they are scammers, but probably not the way you imagine them. I don't know if the CSR explained the terms to you, but they take out a refinance fee every payday if you do not contact them to pay off the loan. I am sorry to hear that your account is in the negative. Their contact info is:

More than likely they are illegal in your state as well, and you will have to find out if they have been charging you more than your state allows in interest fees. You can call the bank and tell them to stop any debits from this company, or you can close your account and start fresh. How much have you already paid on your loan?

Oops, you don't need the June 5th in there for anything...I was just writing an email to them and copied their address from there and forgot to erase that part from my post!

Do you have the paper contract from Geneva Roth? You need to check if they are licensed in your state and following the laws. If they have done an unauthorized debit, dispute it with your bank. They will help you in reverting the charges.

Geneva Roth actually refused to stop debiting my account after I sent an email to Reese Price a loan officer telling her they were not permitted to do it. I have it in writing three times. I have filed a complaint with everyone against them and am trying to get a refund. They just are impossible. Please file a complaint with the FTC and the AG is Kansas and where you live. I filed with the AG in Kansas. The more complaints the better. These people are criminals. The person who is putting up such an illegal battle is named Rebecca West. I think she is one of the Prinipals.

I filed my complaints last month. The BBB was the first to respond but Geneva Roth said there "deal" was to stop the ACH withdrawals and put me in collections. My account has been frozen since Feb. and they were still trying every two weeks to take money out. I had already paid them 450 against a 300 dollar loan. I am trying to get a refund. The Kansas AG just responded this week. I had sent them copies of the emails where they refused to stop debiting. What state do you live in and how much have you paid them against how much? I am hell bent about getting justice with these people.

I live in Wisconsin, and I had a $200 loan out with them, and have paid $540 on it! I have stopped their payments at the bank but they are still trying to debit (unsuccessfully), so I am closing my account tomorrow, so I don't have to deal with those funds getting tied up in stop payment processing time. No collection calls from these people yet. I defaulted on my loan in mid May. I sent them a pif and refund request 2 days ago, so it's too soon to tell what they are going to do or say.

Help! I have debited already $720 on a $300 dollar payday loan! I just spoke with Marcella at their customer service and she said that they take only the $90 dollar extension fee unless I respond to their email. WHICH I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED!!! I am going to call my bank to try and stop the debits. But not sure what else I can do. I AM SOOO PISSED! Ugh.
