What do you all think of the current interest rates on major credit cards? I have good credit and just realized I'm being charged 27% by Chase and 30% by WAMU/Providian.

Those are HORRIBLE!
You can call them and request a lower interest. If not, you should look to get a card elsewhere.

I have two credit cards with rates of 12.5% and 15% rates. One is citicard and one is MBNA that turned into BOA. I generally try to keep the balances low or at zero but sometimes I slip up and pay interest on them.

If you are thinking to get a new credit card then I think you can go for a balance transfer. If you have any outstanding balance left with the existing credit cards then you can get a new credit card and transfer the total outstanding amount of your existing cards into the new one. Many banks offer different balance transfer rates. But its always less than the usual interest rate.
