Hi everyone,
I have been reading some posts here and I am hoping that you will all be kind enough to help me!!
My husband and I each have a loan with a company called CASHCALL....Mine is for $5000.00 and his is for $2600.00 We also have one payday loan for about $500.00. We have several credit cards as well. We are not behind on any of these debts at this time, and I don't want to be.
Monthly this is what I am paying
$251.00 CashCall
$216.00 CashCall
$240.00 PDL
$350.00 to the credit Cards
---------
$1057.00 Total
Again I have been fortunate enough to not be delinquant at this time, but I will not be able to keep this up for long. From what I have read about the consolidation company's out there is that they don't start working with these folks until you have been delinquant for months, Is that true? I don't want my credit to be affected that badly. I have also read that CashCall does not work with Consolidation companies? Has anyone gotten them to work with one?
Any adivse here would be appreciated.

It is true, at least from what I have experienced, that you have to be delinquint. But the much bigger problem is going to be getting those companies you are dealing with th accept a plan from a dc company....I am not sure if you realize this but a 5 grand loan from Cashcall ends up costing the consumer up to 21 grand in the long run with their Interest rates...

Cashcall can be a very difficult company to work with. From what I've heard they will not work with consolidation companies.

Quote a lower plan to CashCall and keep sending your money. They want to get back their money, so denying your proposal won't do any good. Keep a watch if they are cashing your checks, because that way, you will be sure of them working on your terms. Keep everything documented and send letters through certified mail return receipt requested.

Isn't cash call considered a pdl? In SD, we have a max $500 pdl and they loaned me $2600 at 99.24% interest. Does anyone know if this is illegal?

No, they are not a pdl. They are an installment loan company. The loans are funded by the First Bank of Deleware. They are a 100% legally operating company.

Yep..Cash Call is not a PDL. They do ask for a very high % rate. If u don't make the monthly payments, they will report to the credit bureaus.However...they won't report all the % they ask for, but, they only reort what u barrowed and the amount u are behind. Cash Call SAYS they don't deal with Consolidation Co.'s. But...I have been looking over the DebtCC site, and there are a few companies/settlement places that will 'work' with them. Look around the site...I bet u will find some help, with Cash Call. They are still on my credit ( as deliquent) cuz I haven't 'gotten to them yet' ( by that I mean ..I am starting with 'small items', on my credit report first.

I ALSO want to add.with Cash Call, if you ask them for " something in writing", pertaining to your loan, they will refuse. They will tell you, " they aren't obligated to do that". If you send them a certified letter ( of any kind) they will not pick it up. I learned this the hard way.

I do want to ask, I've heard that some people, on the DebtCC site 'donate' points to you. I'm having a bit of a 'rough' month ( a few bills behind, etc). Is it possible someone can 'donate' some points? There was someone who 'donated' ,about, $10.00 of their points, to me, earlier in the week. Much thanks to that person.

I got the smallest loan possible and I've been paying on mine for a long time now. I was late one month and it put me behind by about 3 more months. Last month my friends at WEBSITE DELETED-STOP ADVERTISING PAYDAY LOANS HERE, RAY!gave me enough to pay off this months payment. After I seen the differences in interest I wish I would have went there first. Oh well. Life's a learning experience!

I second that motion. How could you be late one time and it put you behind 3 months. I am confused?
