i just dont understand why anyone would pay 30.00 for this book, and have the reps try to keep selling you more and more stuff. If you are truly interested in this book or any other book, get it at the library first or purchase a used one at a thrift store or on ebay for alot less. We are in a debt forum we are trying to save money correct? Why pay 30.00 for a book when you can buy it on ebay for like 10, or thift store for 3, or heck the library for free! I never purchase books new its such a waste of money

love_my_things:

I agree. I just find it funny that people would call this company and charge a book called "Debt Cures" to their credit card. LOL. It seems kind of contradictory. Everyone is correct, tho, all the information in this book can be found online for free- this forum for one but if you absolutely must read it and want to form your own opinion, get it from a local library, or buy it used. Safer than handing over your card and bank details to the company which regularly steals and resells personal information.

I also saw the infomercial. I dont care that much about debt solutions but I was interested in the grants he was talking about. Does anyone have reliable information on government grants? I am looking for grants to help with bills and going back to school. I want to finish my degree, but cant afford to stop working to go back to school full time. I also have 3 kids to tend to. Any info on this subject would be appreciated. Feel free to email me at: sharelllarae[at]yahoo.com just put Help with Grants in the subject line so I dont delete before reading. Thanks. Sharell

Long time ago I purchased one of Kevins book by credit card, and when I did, my card was debited every month for some kind of membership to one of his clubs. It was hard to stop the bank from debiting my account. I had to close my account to keep Kevin from stealing my money.

I think its funny, cause we all know how to get not in trouble, how to get out of trouble, but we dont always have the right tools or money to keep us from doing that. not many of us, just got up and put 100k on the cards just to go party and get wasted.. we did it to survive and get by through hard times..

Look folks....like him or not, he makes some good points. Might not be worth buying the book, especially seeing as you are in debt already. Here's a thought - do like I did and CHECK IT OUT FROM THE LIBRARY! It's FREEEEE!!

Yes I got Kevin Trudeau's book on Debt Cures, yes I already knew and practiced most of what he said in the book, at 60 yrs old I already figured out a lot of things, yes I did learn one or two new things but.......my intertest was in getting a grant. After working 43 yrs, becoming a widow, and losing everything I worked for, for all those yrs. To care for my dying husband. I was in desperate need of help. Soooooooooo I went in search of a granny grant or just a grant for you kiddies. I have been reading, searching and applying for every grant that came down the pike for 3 months now and here is my results......................As told to me by numerous US agengy's (yes I have talked to the powers that be personally) THE US GOV "DOES NOT" GIVE GRANTS TO ANY US CITIZEN. Ever, you "have" to be a business or a school. Now you got this info for free. Thanks Pam
