Default Does anyone have information on "debt cures"?

anyone have information on the 'debt cures' program that has been advertised? I don't know if it would be worth the money that this book costs, but it looks interesting on the TV ad. Anyone know for sure?

Default I haven"t heard of the debt cures book

I havent heard of the debt cures book, but probably the only one that gets the "cure" is the guy who wrote it and the money he collects from his book.

There is no quick fix, but there are solutions that can help you.

If you are having problems with debt, you can get a free credit consultation here, and also tell us something about yourself, you debts, etc. We can direct you in some ways that may help with your debt problems..Karen

Default Debt Cures

I bought "Debt Cures they don't want you to know about" and a couple others from Kevin Trudeau.. They are an interesting, eye opening read but NOTHING that can really help you unless you are just getting out of High School and need info on how to get grant money or if you have super old debt that is past the statutes of limitation or a victim of identity fraud.. Those are his "two secret words".. Just FYI.. Kevin Trudeau charges too much for things you can find online..

My advise is to stay away from ANYONE that wants you to buy a credit repair dvd,cd etc. The only one that can get you and stay out of debt is YOU. You have come to the right place for help. Let us know what we can do for you and welcome to the site.

Default Debt Cures Book

I agree with Luke
you do not need to pay for anything including the debt consolidation offered on this site
you can do this all on your own
don't spend more money with anyone here
do it yourself educate yourself and don't spend a penny here
my feelings of what the true sight should really be about
help others but don't hose them

Default Cure Debt, My Problem With ...

I called in order this #19.95 book and was "taken for a ride."
First I was asked to buy more books for my friends, next she told me the shipping and Handling was about $11 each, then the was a service that went long with the book - I could see any time I said yes there was a "step-up" in the sales putch to add a product, so I said "cancel my order" to which she replied "we can't the order already went out." I wewnt to my bank who said I couldn't stop payment until the next day. The next day the bank's fax machine was broken and they could not fax the necessary paper between HQ and my branch, etc., etc., etc!
This has been a night mare!!!

Default debt cures book

Even though I haven't read "Debt Cures" book or know anyone who has...I would have to agree with everyones comments. There isn't a quick fix or some profound secret that someone has hidden away in a book they're written. You'll learn so much with this site as well as others....for free!

Default Debt Cure Book - Stay Away From it

Actually, I had seen an informercial for this the other year, and did a little research on it because I was certainly intrigued and thought it might be a wise purchase....

DO NOT purchase ANYTHING promoted by Kevin Trudeau. He has done plenty of jail time for larcency and fraud, and has been sued by the Federal Trade Commission numerous times. A court order keeps him from selling any more products and services, but he can still publish and sell books because of the "freedom of speech and the press" amendment.

Also, he has been notorious for selling the phone numbers, card/bank account information and personal information of people who have purchased any of his books through his website or informercials.

If you want more information, check out some of the following:

Default Debt Cures

I can't attest to Trudeau's programs or background, but I have read the book. I think a lot of people here may be quick to judge something they haven't tried. That doesn't really help anyone. I read the book after reading some of the negative posts, and I have to say, going into it I wasn't expecting much. However I found the book to be a great resource. It's packed with a lot of detailed information, backed up by facts and statistics. I would definitely recommend the book. Buy it at your local Borders or online if you don't want the hassle of dealing with their pushy sales reps. I don't know where he got the information but it's good and worth the read.

Gary, you said,

Do you think the "facts" and "statistics" are any better than the work of more reliable (and knowledgeable) sources on the internet?

Kevin Trudeau would be better off behind the bars!

The original poster of this thread was looking for information, and help. I've read the book, and just about every other book thats been published on the subject. I would agree that the guy is a snake, but that doesn't mean the book doesn't deserve some merit if it actually provides some benefits to the reader. For all we know he paid someone to write it for him, who cares, as long as it helps someone. I thought that was the idea behind this forum, to help people.
Lack of Financial education in America, is the primary reason, most people wind up in debt in the first place. That's not the fault of the people, but the fact that we don't teach it, we don't encourage it, we only push people to spend more money, for all the wrong reasons. A hood has been pulled over the eyes of every person living in America and we all need to wake up and get educated.
If you are aware of a more reliable source, then please stop ranting and, tell the reader what they can do to find more credible information. Perhaps you should suggest a different book , that YOU have read, because without the facts, any thing you read should be considered subject, including the posts on this website.
