If you are already having wages garnished and it is basically killing you financially you may want to consider CH 7 bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is the only thing that is going to stop the garnishments. Sometimes in rare cases like your self it is best to just wipe the slate clean and reestablish your credit. I would suggest you at least speak with a couple of lawyers and see what they say. Consultations are almost always free and it never hurt to at least explore all of your options. Sorry. I hope this helps.

pert, It might be true if you are that far in debt with little or no income, maybe a chapter 7 would be the answer but remember, today's chapter 7 is diffrent than a year ago. Now you have to take a "means test" which is a test to determine if you qualify, it seems though, you may just qualify...and then they set up a plan just for you. I would ask about it here. This site is an oasis of infomation for you....just ask, about anythng. Welcome to the site.
