Are you still having trouble with your pay day loans? If so, what state are you in? Who did you borrow from? How much did you borrow from each company and how much have you paid them back in so called fees?

Don't avoid the phone calls because it's doing no good. The collectors are getting aggressive because of your ignoring their calls. I will suggest you to talk to them and work out a plan. Make sure that you have the debt validated before sending money. You need to be sure of your money going towards your account.

Get everything done in writing. This way you will have a proof of the plan with the CA. How much is your total debt?

Avoiding their calls will only make them nastier, if you talk to them and explain your situation alot of them may be able to work out a repayment plan with you, if you make a payment plan stick with it and if you can't make your scheduled payment, let them know. About a 2 years ago I was in a similar situation, and I just picked one creditor to pay off at a time, explaining to the others that that is what I must do. I got several paid of by doing that. You did come to the right place for support and advice. Oh yeah, no more pdl's they won't help your situation, only make it more unbearable.

I disagree. When they can reach you, they update their systems to show they successfully made contact. That extends how long you number stays in their automatic dialers. Better to screen your calls for a couple of months. Eventually they stop and move on to the next victim.

Freaky is right, however, some collectors are ruthless and their system just resets your number for the following day even though a sucessful contact was made. If you make the arrangements with them they usually won't call again until your payment is due or just before to remind you.
